How this site is funded, and the line between what advertisers pay for and what we publish.
Current position
No advertising is displayed on this site at present. We intend to introduce third-party advertising served by Google AdSense once the site has a substantial body of published content, and this page will describe it accurately when that happens.
Separation from editorial
Advertising, when it appears, will be visually distinct from editorial content and placed so that it cannot be mistaken for navigation, for a recommendation or for part of an article. Advertisers have no sight of, and no influence over, what we research, publish, compare or correct. No coverage, ranking, placement or link on this site is for sale.
No affiliate marketing
Spain Property Compass uses no affiliate links, no referral commissions and no partner arrangements with estate agents, lenders, lawyers or developers. Links to third parties exist so you can verify a source or reach an official body, and we earn nothing when you follow them.
Personalisation and consent
